I have the greatest opportunity in my job to extend my duties in working with young people, in helping with competitions on the state and national level in various organizations.
Well this week is no different, and has it been busy, busy, busy.
I’ve been quite busy planning and coordinating our local Northeast Indiana regional competition which is tomorrow, 2-24!
I’m so proud of the young people in high school and college that I meet. I often judge competitions locally, statewide and nationally. I also give speeches of motivation and understanding your own skills and talents.
I am proud of my involvement and most importantly students that compete. I posted a few pics from the last SkillsUSA national leadership conference in Kansas City. About 9,000 young people in one city. Quite unbelievable. I took these pictures after all competitions were done up in the convention floor.
This takes Talent.
It takes patience.
Belief in yourself
And a passion
My role within these type of organizations has grown through my job as a college representative. If you’d like information on the nearest organization to you, send me an email at email@example.com or hit me up on here!
Now that I’ve gathered a list of a few essential topics to address on here this week:
1. FAFSA questions answered and general information regarding financial aid and what it all means
2. A sample 250 word essay that you could use for any scholarship application!
3. General thoughts to keep in mind when it comes to figuring out total financial need for college.
But, what else?
This is for you so what can I help YOU with?
Subscribing to my blog might be one of the best decisions you make. I’m here often and have more to give you.
